Urban Search & Rescue Dogs

    Trossachs SAR Team has trained and operated SAR dogs since its formation in 1998. It has members who are former military and mountain rescue search dogs personnel who have contributed hugely to producing very highly skilled dogs and handlers.

    In testament to our expertise our dogs, handlers and safety buddies have assisted the emergency services at a range of incidents, including -

    Our personnel and dogs undertake a comprehensive course including studying for and undertaking examinations with the Fire & Rescue Service to qualify them to operate within the Inner Cordon at major incidents.
